PortAventura
This iconic resort, the largest in southern Europe, welcomes about 4 million visitors each year. PortAventura has 3 different parks, including PortAventura Park, Caribe Aquatic Park and Ferrari Land, with 6 different lands: the Mediterranean, Mexico, the Far West, China, Polynesia and Sésamo Aventura. PortAventura Park is home to over 40 attractions and daily performances. Its highlights are Shambhala and Dragon Khan roller coasters. The Caribe Aquatic Park has 14 rides, including King Khajuna with a 31-meters high free fall. Ferrari Land homes Vertical Accelerator, Europe’s tallest and fastest roller coaster. Children will love the Sesame Street with its Magic Fish ride.
Besides the rides, the park offers plenty of good restaurants, several hotels, golf courses and a beach club.
Getting to PortAventura
By plane: Reus Airport is located about 15 minutes from the park and Barcelona El Prat de Llobregat Airport is just over an hour away. Bus company Plana has regular services from both airports.
By train: If you travel from Catalonia, there is a stop in PortAventura World on the R-16 line run by Rodalies de Catalunya. If you travel from outside Catalonia, Renfe company offers train rides to the resort.
By bus: There are coastal bus services by Plana company connecting cities and the resort.
Terra Mitica
This theme park with five different areas: Greece, Rome, Iberia, Las Islas and Egypt, brings to life myths and legends of Ancient Mediterranean civilisations. In Greece, you can spin a huge discus – Synkope, or twirl around Las Icaros offering an amazing view over the park. In the Roman area, have a ride on Europe’s largest wooden roller coaster, Magnus Colossus or Europe’s first ball roller coaster, Inferno. In Egypt enjoy The Nile with jacuzzi and fountains or have some fun at Waterfalls of the Nile. Iberia is the best place for children with pirate boats, carousel and teacups. Las Islas’ main attractions are Rapidos des Argos, a strong currents river, and El Rescate de Ulises with magical decor and light spectacles.

Getting to Terra Mitica
By plane: Airport El Altet, Alicante is 55 km away and Manises in Valencia is situated 140 kilometers away.
By train: F.G.V. trains join Denia and Alicante, and if you are travelling from other parts of Spain, you can take Renfe train to Alicante and later the F.G.V.
By bus: There are local and coach buses from Benidorm to the park.
Tibidabo
Tibidabo Amusement Park located in the Collserola Ridge in Barcelona is Spain’s longest-running amusement park and the third-oldest in Europe. There are over 30 attractions for both children and adults and most of the original rides are still in use. A very popular ride is the 1928 Avió airplane ride, a single-car carousel giving the impression of flying above the city. Other attractions with amazing views are Talaia that takes visitors up to a height of 550m above sea level, and Muntanya Rossa, a rollercoaster offering a ride through the woods.
The park houses several picnic areas, restaurants, indoor dining and cafes.
Getting to Tibidabo
By plane: The closest airport to the park is Barcelona Airport.
Once you have arrived in Barcelona, you can take several shuttle buses to the park leaving from different locations in the city.
Warner Parque
This theme park is divided into five areas: DC Super Heroes World, Movie World Studios, Hollywood Boulevard, Old West Territory and Cartoon Village. Among all rollercoasters, highlights include Superman: La Atracción de Acero, a rollercoaster with floorless trains, Batman: Arkham Asylum, an inverted roller coaster, and a wooden Coaster-Express. There is also a huge inverted boomerang called Stunt Fall offering a vertical drop of over 50 meters at 115 km/h and La Venganza del Enigma dropping visitors from 100 meters reaching a speed of 80 km/h.
The park also offers a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops.
Getting to Warner Parque
By plane: Since the park is located about 23 kilometers from Madrid, in the municipality of San Martin de la Vega, the closest airport to the park is Madrid Airport.
By train: Once in Madrid, you can take Cercanias line and get off at the Pinto stop and from there catch the 413 from La Veloz.
By bus: From Villaverde Bajo station you can take bus number 412.
Isla Magica
Isla Magica is a theme park situated on the former grounds of the Expo ’92 World’s Fair, divided into 7 different areas representing episodes in Spanish 16th century, including El Dorado, Puerto de Indias, Quetzal, Puerta de America, Amazonia La Fuente de la Juventud and El Balcon de Andalucia. All attractions are centered around a lake. Highlights include roller coasters like El Jaguar, a hanging roller coaster spinning through several 360 degrees turns at 80 km/h and Anaconda, a log flume with 3 large drops.
In 2014 the Park presented Aqua Magica, or the beach of Seville, with an artificial beach and several swimming pools, including a wave pool, slides and lazy river.
Getting to Isla Magica
By plane: The park is situated within the urban area of Seville so the closest airport is Seville Airport.
By bus: When you are already in Seville, you can take local buses C1 and C2 which stop next to the park.
