Top 50 Best Airports in the World
Curious to know which airports in the world deserve the title ‘the best’? It is easy to define which one is the largest, the busiest, the one with the biggest number of airlines, but being ‘the best’ sounds very subjective, so we decided to check what actual passengers have to say about this in order to present you top 50 best world’s airports for 2022.
How did we do it?
Among different approaches of making the list of the world’s best airports, we decided to collect Google reviews and ratings of real customers as the main source of data to rank the airports. Our goal was to rank the airports according to the rating they had at the moment.
Data were collected within a week’s period, so the list includes:
- Airports that handle 1 million or more passengers
- Airports that have more than 1000 Google Reviews
In case two (or more) airports have the same rating, we considered the number of reviews in relation to the number of passengers the airports handled in the last year. Therefore, an airport with a higher percentage of reviews in relation to its number of passengers is ranked higher.
