FAQ – bus and transport from Zaragoza airport

I arrive late at the airport. Will it be a problem for me to get to the city?

Of course not, the airport is only few km away from the city centre, but in case you miss all the buses on the line 604, you can take a taxi which will cost about 25€ per direction.

I have an early morning departure from the airport, are there any airport hotels I can stay at?

Yes, you can go to Diagonal Plaza Hotel about 4 km from the airport or Tulip Inn Plaza Feria on the same distance. However, to reach them you should take a taxi so it is maybe a better option to take a taxi to city centre and stay in one of the hotels there, which gives you the option of exploring the city until you depart.

I would like to spend one day in Zaragoza in between flights. Is that possible?

Yes, of course. The best way to do so is to take the bus which takes you directly from the airport to the city centre and is the most convenient way of transportation. Also, if you don’t feel like dragging your luggage around, you can leave at the luggage storage at the Zaragoza – Delicias station in the city.

I am continuing my journey outside Zaragoza. Are there any direct lines from the airport to other cities?

Directly from the airport no, but you can go to Zaragoza Central Station and check out for your destination. We have some suggestions for you: Zaragoza to Madrid, Zaragoza to Barcelona or Zaragoza to Bilbao.

Can I exchange money at the airport to pay for my transfer?

Yes, there are several exchange offices and ATMs at the airport, working 24/7, but it would be better to exchange the money before the trip and have some euros on you since the rate will be a lot higher on the spot and no currency other than euro is accepted.

    thanks!

      Dear Fiona,

buses depart from main bus station in Zaragoza and trains depart from Zaragoza-Delicias station.
Both trains and buses depart every 2 hours approx. but train is much faster than bus.

      Best regards,
