Aalborg Airport Bus
Aalborg Airport (AAL) is an international airport located in the Danish city of Nørresundby, in the Aalborg Municipality. The airport is just 6 kilometers away from Aalborg city center, and is a dual-use airport, which stands for both military and civil use. It serves as a secondary hub for Norwegian Air Shuttle, and as a base for low-cost airlines such as Vueling or RyanAir.
How to get from Aalborg Airport to Aalborg
Bus
There are several bus lines operated by NT connecting Aalborg Airport and Aalborg city center: 12, 70, 71 and 200, as well as the night bus N24, and they all terminate in the main station Aalborg Busterminal. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach central Aalborg. Tickets are available for purchase directly from the driver, and the price is around DKK22 (~€3).
NOTE: Only cash payment is accepted when purchasing your ticket directly on the bus.
Train
The railway line to the airport is currently under construction and is expected to open by the end of 2020.
Taxi
Getting a taxi for a more comfortable journey to the city is possible right outside the terminal entrance. Several taxi operators offer their services at Aalborg Airport, and the price of the transfer is usually around DKK200 (~€27). If arriving outside the busiest hours, it is best to book a taxi in advance.
Private transfer
Door-to-door private transfer is another flexible and convenient transport option, with affordable prices and a professional driver waiting for you in the Arrivals section. You will be taken directly to and from your destination in a vehicle of your choosing.
Renting a Car
