Brindisi Airport Bus
Brindisi Airport (BDS), also known under the names of Brindisi Papola Casale Airport and Salento Airport, is an international airport serving Brindisi, in the South area of Italy, and it is located only 5 km from the city center. The airport serves as a hub for low-cost carriers, such as Ryanair, easyJet, Vueling and Volotea. Approximately 2 million passengers pass through the airport each year.

Local bus: The bus stop is located just outside the Terminal. The company STP Brindisi connects the Salento airport with the city centre (Central station, via del Mare/Piazza Capitanerie di Porto) and the Costa Morena port.
- The line runs every 30 minutes on a daily basis starting from 05:30 (Piazza Crispi – Central station) to 23:45.
NOTE: From 05:30 to 7:45 and from 21:15 to 23:45 the service operates only from the Airport to the Central station. From 08:15 to 20:45 the service runs on the route Airport – Central station – Costa Morena port).
- The journey to the Central station takes 10 – 15 minutes, to via del Mare 15 – 20 minutes and to Costa Morena port 25 – 30 minutes, depending on the traffic.
- A single ticket costs approximately 1€ (1.5€ when purchased on board).
Taxi: If you prefer a comfortable ride over a crowded public transport, we recommend you to take a taxi. You will find taxi rank in front of the Terminal. A taxi trip from BDS Airport to Brindisi city centre can take approximately 10 – 15 minutes, depending on the traffic. The official colours of taxis in the region is white and yellow.
Transfer: If you don’t like using the public transport and are hesitant to take a taxi, consider booking a private transfer which will wait for you at the airport and take you to your destination. The transfer company will send a professional driver to pick you up. You can even pre-order a child safety seat.
