Does bus 39 still run from Hamburg Airport to Wandsbek Markt? I can’t find a timetable on HVV website or map.
Dear DA,
As we have checked, the bus line 39 is renamed to bus line 392 and it slightly changed the route. The new line 392 took over the route from Ohlsdorf to Teufelsbrück (ferry) while line 28 runs to
Wandsbek Markt and Hebebrandstraße. Check here more details.

By Bus from Hamburg International Airport to Hamburg Hbf. Are big Luggages allowed inside the bus?
Dear Linda,
The luggage should be allowed inside the bus. Some of the buses are coaches which means you can put your luggage in the lower luggage compartment. Other buses are public and you should hold your luggage beside you as there’s no extra place for the luggage.

What bus is best to get to Hampton by hilton Hotel from the airport
Dear Rodney,
the easiest option is to take a train (S1) from the airport to Berliner Tor. After that, you are left with about 10 minutes walking to your hotel.
If carrying a lot of luggage, you can take a train all the way to the central train station and then change to a bus line no. 112 at Hauptbhf./Steintorwall to reach your accommodation.
Best regards,
