I will arrive at stavanger airport with family 4 persons and 8 bags can we still take a taxi or do we need a private car

    • Maja   •     Author

      Dear Saad,

8 bags are unlikely to fit in one taxi, so ordering two might be a solution.
Also, we suggest you pay attention to the COVID-19 measures in Norway because they might also regulate the number of passengers per taxi vehicle.

Hi, I am travelling with 2 kids under 5 years old and planning to take taxi/minivan from the airport to city center. Is it easy to get a taxi or minivan equip with child safety seat at the airport? Or do I need to pre-book in advance ? But I am unsure how long will it take to clear the custom and get the luggage with the new corona rules in place (testing etc.). If prebook, how much time should I estimate from the flight arrival time?

    • Maja   •     Author

      Hi,

unfortunately, it is really hard to estimate the time needed to clear the custom, get the luggage and do the testing since that largely depends on the number of passengers on your flight.
In all cases, you should count in at least 30 minutes, probably more.
However, yes, pre-booking a child safety seat is recommended.

      Hi,

according to the information based on the official website of Flybussen, the last bus departure on Thursday is at 11:15 pm.
If you manage to take care of the luggage and other things post-flight without any problems, you should be able to catch this bus.

      Best,
