FAQ – bus and transport from Turin airport

I arrive late at the airport. Will it be a problem for me to get to the city?

No, the shuttle bus is very frequent (every 15 minutes or 30 mins on holidays and Sundays). The last one departs at 00:30, but in case you missed them all, you can always call an official airport taxi which operates 24/7.

I have an early morning departure from the airport, are there any airport hotels I can stay at?

Sure thing. There are a few hotels situated in the airport area:
Jet Hotel (4*) – 500m from the airport; free Wi-Fi, breakfast and parking, laundry service
Hotel Ristorante Ruatta – 2km from the airport; free Wi-Fi, breakfast and parking

I would like to spend one day in Turin in between flights. Is that possible?

Yes, of course. The best way to do so is to take the shuttle bus or metro which will take you directly from the airport to the city centre and are the most convenient way of transportation. Unfortunately, there is no luggage storage facilities at the airport but you can leave your suitcases at Porta Nuova train station for 3.80€ per item (first 5 hours, after that you pay 0.60€ per hour).

I am continuing my journey outside Turin. Are there any cheap bus lines from the airport to other cities?

There are no direct lines from the airport but it is possible to take a bus to other cities once you get to Turin centre (bus terminal) and pick one of the popular routes like Turin – Genoa, Turin – Nice (FR) or Turin – Florence. You can also check other destinations from Turin at getbybus.com

Can I exchange money at the airport to pay for my transfer?

Yes, there is Unicredit Bank and Banca Sella ATMs at the airport and Forexchange service working 24/7, but it would be better to exchange the money before the trip and have some euros on you since the rate will be a lot higher on the spot and no currency other than euro is accepted.

I will land at 230pm and I want to go to via pisa, iaad college, which is a suitable ride for me to reach my destination… Your help will find my destination…
    Thank you

      Dear Janmejay,

maybe the best option is to take metro from the airport (5 stations) and exit at station Dora, then you can take a local bus no. 11 (for another 4 stations) straight to IAAD college. The entire journey shouldn’t take longer than 50 minutes.

      Best regards,

If ticket is bought in one of the ticket offices or at automatic machines, it will cost €6.50. You can find automatic ticket machine at Turin Airport (Livello Arrivi).
