Since 1st Feb 2019 all through trains have been withdrawn. There is now only one train per day between Budapest and Novi Sad, and even then you have to change train on the border at Kelebia. The daily train leaves Budapest at 1157 arrive NS 1842. I am not sure of the return time from NS but from Subotica it is 1328 arriving Budapest 1804
