It is located along the Río de la Plata, in the Palermo neighbourhood, 13 km northeast of the Buenos Aires city center. It serves as the main hub for domestic flights in Argentina and for some regional flights to neighboring countries (Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia and Peru).
