Airport bus

AeroBus is a shuttle bus that operates between the COR and the main bus terminal in Cordoba called Omnibus Terminal. The journey takes about 1 hour 15 minutes because of all the stops on the way, but if your accommodation is located nearby, you can get off sooner.

AeroBus operates every 30-40 minutes and the bus stop is located in front of the arrivals terminal.

NOTE: Tickets cannot be purchased with cash once you are on the bus. In order to purchase a bus ticket, first, you need to get a reloadable card called the Red Bus card. You can buy the Red Bus card at the airport in most kiosks as well as at the New Bus Terminal.

City bus

Getting a city bus (route 25) from COR to Cordoba is not recommended for first-time visitors, but it is the cheapest option. However, it is the longest route due to its many stops so the journey takes about 2 hours. The bus route goes straight through the centre of the city. It departs from the bus stop located in front of the arrivals terminal (the same spot as AeroBus) and you will need the Red Bus card as well (you can buy one in most kiosks at the airport). It operates every 15-30 minutes.

Taxi

Getting a taxi from COR to Cordoba is possibly the best option and the quickest one. Taxis are provided by the government of Córdoba City and you can spot them easily in an exclusive rank just outside the terminal.

There are two kinds, the regular taxis and the remises, the “nicer ones”. You can get a regular taxi at any point and the ride will cost approximately $10. If you want to get a remis, you need to book in advance or find their kiosk called Global Remis at the airport. A ride with a remis will cost you about $20.

Easy Taxi and Uber are also available at the airport.

Car hire

For those who prefer to explore the area on their own and don’t want to depend on taxis and public transfer, the best option is to hire a car directly at the airport. At COR Airport, you will find major rental agencies such as Hertz, Avis, Localiza, Alamo National and Europcar. However, you can rent a car online and avoid the potentially long queues at the airport.

Rent a bus

Larger groups of passengers should consider renting a bus at the airport. However, it is recommended to book it online in advance so the bus rental companies have enough time to advise you on the meeting point and other necessary information.
