There are two bus routes operated by Proximo company connecting the Faro Airport and the city centre. Lines 14 and 16 travel to the city centre and vice-versa. Bus number 16 has more frequent departures than bus number 14, up to every half an hour from morning to late evening hours and it stops in the city centre. One-way bus ticket cost about 2.5€ and can be purchased directly on board. The ride takes around 20 minutes, depending on the traffic. Delays are possible in peak-season.

The fare from the Airport to the Faro city center is around 10-15€ and expect to be charged more if you carry several luggage pieces. Travel time is 15 minutes.
