Fast Line Vienna – Čakovec

As of today we have two weekly direct lines between Vienna and Čakovec as well as a two weekly departures from Čakovec to Vienna, the route which is serviced by the company AP Varaždin operated year around.

Before the opening of this route, passengers travelling between the cities had to change bus in either Zagreb or in Varazdin. With the new direct route the travel time between the cities has been reduced to 4 hours and 15 minutes, which is 2 hours less then options mentioned above.

In both directions the route operates Friday and Sundays, which makes an excellent choice for a weekend visit to one of the cities. In Vienna the bus departure from the VIB terminal in Erdbergstrasse, in Čakovec from the main bus station.

A one way adult ticket cost 185 Kuna / 25 Euro a return ticket cost 296 Kuna / 40 Euro, discounted tickets are available for children and students.
