Baltimore-Washington Airport is an international airport on the East Coast, located 14 km from Baltimore and 48 km from Washington D.C. It primarily serves Baltimore city, but is formally known as one of three airports serving the D.C. area. Although it offers international flights, most routes are with domestic cities. Southwest Airlines and Spirit handle the majority of air traffic at BWI Marshall. As for the ground transportation, BWI offers enough options. MTA Transit and Amtrak have regular bus/train lines, with standard amenities like taxis and shuttles also available.
