Trapani Airport (TPS), or fully Trapani-Birgi Vincenzo Florio Airport, is an international airport serving Trapani in Sicily. The airport is one of five airports serving Sicily with approximately a million passengers a year. However, the passenger movement decreased in the last few years to around 400.000 passengers annually. TPS Airport is located on the west coast of Sicily, about 18 kilometres from Trapani city centre. The airport serves both seasonal and all-year-round flights to several destinations with a few more being announced. The most popular international flights arrive from the Netherlands, Germany, Malta and the Czech Republic. Besides being a civil airport, Trapani Birgi also serves as a military airbase.

AST (Azienda Siciliana Transporti) offers bus transport from Trapani Birgi to Trapani. Buses operate from early morning hours to late evening hours every day, but the schedule varies from day to day.
