Acropolis Golden Sands:
The water park Acropolis is probably the most beautiful aqua parks in Bulgaria. The park was built by Spanish experts using their experience in constructing numerous water parks in Spain. Acropolis has space for 3.000 people on its 40.000 m2, it has rides and pools for all ages. The adrenalin part includes a 60 km/h Kamikaze slide, two black holes as well as a wild river and a Niagara slide where people ride on rubber rings. The park has pools divided into 3 zones: adult, children and extreme. The adult part has a beautiful lazy river running through a water “temple” with a waterfall. Of course you will also find plenty of relax areas, restaurants and off water fun for both adults and kids.
Getting to Acropolis
As mentioned above, Acropolis is located in Golden Sands only a few hundred metres from the seaside. If you are staying in Golden Sands, you will be able to walk there; from Saints Constantin and Helena there is about 7 km to the water park and from Varna centre about 15 km. From both cities there are buses to Golden Sands. If you are with a car you have around 100 parking lots by Acropolis.
Action aqua park Sunny beach
The action aqua park was one of the first water parks to open in Bulgaria. The park that covers an area of 36.000 m2 has around 30 water attractions, mainly for both adults and kids. Other slides to try out are Kamikaze, Turbulence, Hydrohute, Multislide, Black hole, Twister or the unique Uphil Navigator. If you like it more quite, the lazy river or the wave pool is probably the right thing for you. For the kids there is a kids zone with adventure pool and water castle; additionally there is a mini zoo and animation program, so plenty of stuff for the kids to do, while parents can relax around the beautiful adult pool.
